About This Tour

Our longest Spiti and, for anyone who has not been at high altitude before, the one we would recommend. Ten days means the climb from Chandigarh at three hundred and fifty metres to Kaza at three thousand eight hundred happens slowly enough for your body to keep up.

Two nights at Sangla, one at Kalpa, one at Tabo, two at Kaza, one beside Chandratal and one at Manali. Everything in the shorter circuits is here, with none of the long driving days that make them tiring.

Day by day, here is exactly how Spiti Valley — 9 Nights, the Complete Circuit unfolds — 9 nights and 10 days, starting and ending at Chandigarh.

Day 1, Narkanda
The journey begins today. You will visit Hatu Peak, Hatu Mata Temple, Tannu Juber Lake and Stokes Farm. Dinner and overnight stay at Narkanda.
Day 2, Sangla
After an unhurried breakfast, the day opens up. On the itinerary today are Hatu Peak, Hatu Mata Temple, Tannu Juber Lake, Stokes Farm and Karcham Wangtoo Dam. Check in, settle down and spend the night at Sangla.
Day 3, Sangla & Chitkul
A full day of sightseeing awaits. The day covers Karcham Wangtoo Dam, Kamru Fort, Bering Nag Temple, Buddhist Monastery, Rakcham – Chitkul (Last Village of India) and Mathi Temple. Overnight stay at Sangla.
Day 4, Kalpa
Today the road climbs into the heart of the region. You will see The Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery, The Narayan-Nagini Temple, Suicide Point and Roghi Village. The evening is yours. Overnight at Kalpa.
Day 5, Kalpa - Nako - Tabo
Breakfast first, and then the day belongs to you. Today takes in Visit Nako Lake & drive to Tako & confluence of Sutlej & Spiti rivers at Khab and Tabo Monastery. Then visit Tabo Caves. From there you drive on to Tabo Via Nako. Dinner and overnight stay at Tabo.
Day 6, Kaza
An early start today, and well worth it. Lined up for you are Dhankar Lake and Dhankar Monastery. Check in, settle down and spend the night at Kaza.
Day 7, Kaza Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Kye Monastery – The learning centre of Buddhism, Chicham Bridge. The highest bridge in Asia, The bridge is at a staggering height of 13596 ft and connects the two villages named Chicham and Kibber. Later Visit Komic Village, the Highest village in the world, is situated at an elevation of 15027 feet above sea level. Then Visit Langza village (Fossil Village of India) and Hikkim village (the highest Village post office). Overnight at Kaza Hotel.
Day 8, Chandratal
The pace eases a little today. On the itinerary today are Chandratal Lake. From there you drive on to Chandratal Via Kunzum Pass. The evening is yours. Overnight at Chandratal Camp.
Day 9, Manali via Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley
A scenic transfer day, with plenty to stop for. The day covers Evening Explore Manali Mall Road. From there you drive on to Manali Via Atal Tunnel & Solang Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at Manali.
Day 10, Chandigarh - Drop
After breakfast, the road turns homeward. From there you drive on to Chandigarh. You will be dropped at Chandigarh Railway Station / Airport, and the tour concludes with memories that stay with you long after.
