We understand that travel plans sometimes change. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled at Sanjhbati Tourism, so that you know exactly where you stand before you book.
All cancellation requests must be made in writing to travel@sanjhbatitourism.com, or confirmed in writing on WhatsApp to 7872349359. A cancellation takes effect from the date and time we receive your written request, not from the date of any telephone conversation.
Cancellation charges depend on how close to the departure date the request is received, and on the cancellation terms of the hotels, homestays, transport operators and cruise or ferry services already booked for your itinerary. The exact cancellation slab applicable to your booking will be stated in writing on your confirmation, and we encourage you to read it at the time of booking.
Certain elements of a package cannot be recovered once they are confirmed. These typically include peak-season and festival-period hotel bookings, inter-island cruise and ferry tickets, entry permits, and any air or rail tickets issued on your behalf. Amounts already paid to third parties on a non-refundable basis cannot be returned to you.
Approved refunds are processed to the original mode of payment. Please allow a reasonable period for the amount to be credited, as this depends on your bank and on how quickly our suppliers release their share.
If you do not join the tour on the scheduled date, or if you leave the tour before it ends, no refund is payable for the unused portion of the itinerary.
Wherever it is possible, we would much rather reschedule your journey than cancel it. Please talk to us first. Postponement is subject to availability and to any difference in seasonal rates.
In the event of landslides, floods, heavy snowfall, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, natural disasters or any other circumstance beyond our reasonable control, we will make every effort to offer a suitable alternative arrangement. Amounts that cannot be recovered from hotels, transport operators and other suppliers in such situations cannot be refunded.
