Per person, always. Most packages carry a minimum group size, and the per-head cost falls as the group grows — on our eleven-day South India route it drops from ₹40,100 for two travellers to ₹26,200 for ten.
Accommodation, the stated meal plan, private transport with an experienced driver, every sightseeing stop in the itinerary, and toll tax, parking and driver allowance. Each package page lists Included and Excluded in full.
That the rate changes with hotel category, season or group size, so one printed figure would mislead you. Call 7872349359 and we will confirm the current tariff the same day.
Enough to block your hotels, homestays and vehicle, with the balance due before departure. The exact amount depends on destination, season and group size, and is stated in writing on your confirmation.
MAP covers daily breakfast and dinner. AP covers breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Our North Bengal, Dooars, Purulia and Sundarban departures usually run on AP, so you are never hunting for a restaurant after a long day out.
Air and rail fare sit outside our package rates, but we are always glad to advise on the most convenient trains and flights from your departure city.
Yes, and we do it every week. Tell us your dates, the kind of stay you prefer and roughly what you would like to spend, and we build the route around that.
We do. Educational trips, college tours, institutional tours and corporate groups all receive group pricing. Our Dooars, Purulia and Vizag–Araku student departures are the most requested.
Private throughout, never shared. Sedan, Ertiga, Innova, Xylo, Bolero or Sumo for smaller parties; tempo travellers from twelve to twenty seats for groups.
It varies. On several North Bengal departures children below five travel free, five to eight years are charged fifty per cent, and above eight counts as an adult. The price note on each package page states the rule.
For the Pujas, December and the Kashmir tulip window, six to eight weeks. Offbeat homestays have very few rooms and fill first.
Yes. We have operated since 2015 and are MSME approved by the Government of India. Our founder and proprietor is Sajal Manna.
North Bengal, without question. Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Kurseong, the Darjeeling offbeat belt and the Dooars are our home ground, and we hold our own associate property network across all of them.
We do — in Sittong, the orange-growing village in the Darjeeling hills. Running it ourselves means we control the rooms, the kitchen and the welcome directly.
Kalimpong Offbeat at ₹3,999 per head for three days and two nights, including homestay, all meals and NJP-to-NJP transport, for groups of seven adults or more.
Yes. Every package states its pick-up and drop point — NJP, New Mal Junction, Barabhum, Sonakhali, Guwahati, Srinagar, Port Blair, Bangalore and so on — and it is included.
Hill and island travel can be affected by landslides, snow, tides and ferry schedules. We will reorder the sightseeing or substitute an arrangement of comparable standard. Your safety decides, not the printed plan.
Yes, for hotel registration everywhere, and for Inner Line Permits in Arunachal Pradesh and permits in the Andamans. We handle the paperwork; you carry valid ID.
Yes. Indian nationals require an ILP for Arunachal Pradesh, and our team completes it before you travel.
Five — Standard, Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Luxury and Premium. The same island itinerary runs on a modest budget or as a genuine celebration.
By private cruise between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil. It is included, and we hold the bookings for you.
A welcome drink on arrival, MAP meals, private vehicle throughout, one complimentary hour of shikara riding on the Dal, and round-the-clock support from our representative.
No. Local sightseeing inside Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg, garden entry fees of ₹30 to ₹50 per person, and pony rides of ₹950 to ₹1,800 are paid locally.
Yes, on request. Hotels run from 2 Star Deluxe to 4 Star Premium and a houseboat night can be built into any of the four Kashmir durations.
They do. Off season runs 6 January to 15 April and 10 July to 15 December; season is 15 December to 5 January and 15 April to 10 July. Both are quoted openly before you book.
It is charged separately, by vehicle type, because access depends on conditions and permits. We will quote it with your package.
The old trading road between Kalimpong and Lhasa, climbing through the Zuluk loops to high passes above 11,000 feet. It is a road journey, not a trek, but the altitude is real — we build in acclimatisation and run it on homestays with all meals included.
Yes. It is a launch-based journey with comfortable resort nights at Pakhiralay, Bali Island or Dayapur, and very little walking.
No responsible operator can promise that. What we can promise is the deep forest channels, the watchtowers at Sajnekhali, Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki, a great deal of birdlife, and a full hilsa menu in the kitchen.
October to March, and especially the Puja season, when the Ayodhya Hills turn red and ochre and Turga and Bamni waterfalls run full.
Tea garden, river, hill, jungle and the Bhutan border all sit within a short radius, so a three-day trip covers genuinely varied ground with short driving distances.
We have operated custom departures to these. They are not yet standard packages with published rates, so please call 7872349359 and we will quote a tailored trip.
Often, yes — Kalimpong with the Dooars, or Silk Route with Gangtok, work well. Send us your total number of days and we will suggest the sensible split.
Our drivers know these routes intimately and act as your local point of contact. For monuments and forest areas where a licensed guide is required, we arrange one.
They are properties we have visited ourselves and continue to work with season after season. Clean rooms, home-cooked food, and a family who knows you are coming.
Patchy in the higher hamlets, and that is rather the point. Your homestay host and our local team stay reachable, and we share those numbers before you travel.
Layers rather than one heavy coat, a windproof outer, comfortable walking shoes, and any regular medication. For high passes, add gloves and a warm cap even in summer.
Yes. Tell us at booking and the kitchens will be briefed. Bengali, vegetarian and simple North Indian food are all straightforward on every route we run.
An advance blocks the booking and the balance falls due before departure. For larger groups we can usually stage payments; please ask at the time of booking.
Write to travel@sanjhbatitourism.com or confirm in writing on WhatsApp. Charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on our suppliers' own terms, all stated on your confirmation.
Peak-season and festival hotel bookings, inter-island cruise and ferry tickets, entry permits and any air or rail tickets issued for you. These are non-recoverable once confirmed.
We would much rather reschedule than cancel. Postponement is subject to availability and to any seasonal rate difference. Talk to us first.
No. We recommend arranging your own, particularly for high-altitude and island itineraries.
Selectively. Kalimpong Offbeat runs July to September and is beautiful then. Some hill routes we advise against, and we will tell you honestly rather than sell you a trip.
It varies — two for Kashmir and the Andamans, four for Shimla–Manali, seven for most North Bengal group rates, eight for the Silk Route. Each package page states it.
We will requote for your actual numbers. A smaller group simply carries a higher per-head cost; it does not stop you travelling.
Yes. Our location is on Google Maps — the link is in the footer and on the Contact page. Please call ahead so someone is free to sit with you.
Usually the same day. Our helpline runs around the clock on 7872349359, and you will have your local representative's direct number for the duration of your trip.
Because we run these routes ourselves rather than reselling them, our prices hold from quotation to invoice, and if something goes wrong at eleven at night in a hill village, someone who knows that village answers the phone.
