About This Tour

The gentler of our two Nainital and Corbett breaks. Here the second day belongs entirely to the lake tour — Bhimtal, the largest of them, Sattal where seven lakes join, and the nine-cornered Naukuchiatal, all within thirty kilometres of town.

Day one covers Naini Lake, the Naina Devi temple, Tiffin Top, Naina Peak, Cave Garden, Lands End and the Mall Road. Day three drives to Corbett through the falls and the museum. Note that tempo travellers are allowed only up to the Nainital parking, and local sightseeing within town is by union vehicle.

Itinerary

Day by day, here is exactly how Nainital & Corbett — Lake Tour unfolds — 3 nights and 4 days, starting and ending at Kathgodam.

  • Day 1, Kathgodam to Nainital( 300 Kms - 7 Hours)

    On arrival in the Delhi airport/ railway station, proceed directly for Nainital by road. On arrival, check in to the hotel. After refreshing yourself at the hotel in Nainital, proceed for sightseeing tour, beginning with boating on the famous Nainital Lake-Naini Lake (at your own cost) and visit to the holy Naina Devi Temple. After that, visit famous tourist spots like Tiffin Top, Naina Peak, Cave Garden, Bara Pathar, Lover's Point, Lands End, Naina Peak etc.(sightseeing will be covered as per time permitting). In the evening, enjoy shopping at the Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Note:- Tempo traveller or higher seating vehicle are allowed upto Nainital Parking only. For local sightseeing in Nainital guests have to take a local vehicle for sightseeing from Nainital Union on direct payment basis.

  • Day 2, Nainital Lake Tour

    After breakfast drive for lake tour of Nainital. Nainital is the main tourist attraction. Here Naini Lake is famous for boating (Half an hour ride), Bhimtal is about 25 kilometers from Nainital. It is the largest lake among Nainital Lake Tour, Sattal(seven lakes) is about 25 kilometers from Nainital. As the name suggests is a group of seven lakes interconnected, Naukuchiatal is about 30 kilometers from Nainital. It is a 9 cornered lake. Drive back to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 3, Nainital to Corbett( 90 Kms - 2.5 Hours)

    After breakfast, drive from Nainital to Corbett National Park enroute to Corbett fall, Corbett Museum. After lunch Visit Corbett National Park. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards. Overnight stay in Corbett. Note:- Jeep Safari Charges will be Extra.

  • Day 4, Corbett to Lalkuan()

    After Breakfast check out from the hotel. Drive to Delhi. Upon arrival drop at Rly. Stn./ Airport for onward journey. Tour ends with sweet memories take home.
