Ladakh — Leh, Nubra & Pangong

A full acclimatisation day before anything else — because altitude is not negotiable

About This Tour

Leh sits at three and a half thousand metres and the airport puts you there in ninety minutes from Delhi. That is why day one of this itinerary does nothing at all — rest, fluids, a short walk to the market in the evening, and no passes. Every experienced Ladakh operator builds it in, and we will not sell a trip that skips it.

After that: the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Indus–Zanskar confluence; Khardung La and the Hunder sand dunes with their double-humped Bactrian camels; and Pangong Tso, a hundred and thirty kilometres of saltwater lake at four thousand two hundred metres. The return crosses Chang La and calls at Thiksey, Shey and the Druk White Lotus school.
