About This Tour

The unhurried version. Everything in our five-day Garhwal tour, with three extra nights spread where they do the most good.

Rishikesh gets two, which is what it takes to fit the temples and the adventure — white-water rafting, the bungee jump, or simply a morning in the Tapovan cafés and the Beatles Ashram. Mussoorie gets three, with the last day free for Dhanaulti and its eco park, or George Everest’s house and Cloud’s End. Dehradun’s Forest Research Institute and Paltan Bazaar sit in between.

Itinerary

Day by day, here is exactly how Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun & Mussoorie unfolds — 7 nights and 8 days, starting and ending at Bagdogra / NJP / Siliguri.

  • Day 1, Arrive Haridwar

    The journey begins today. You will visit Har Ki Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Walk on the ghats and Mansa Devi Temple by ropeway. Dinner and overnight stay at Haridwar.

  • Day 2, Haridwar Local + Drive to Rishikesh

    After an unhurried breakfast, the day opens up. On the itinerary today are Chandi Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, Pawan Dham; Drive to Rishikesh. and Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat Aarti. Check in, settle down and spend the night at Rishikesh.

  • Day 3, Rishikesh Adventure + Spiritual

    A full day of sightseeing awaits. The day covers Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, Gita Bhawan; River rafting, bungee jumping, or just cafe hopping in Tapovan and Parmarth Niketan Aarti and Beatles Ashram. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

  • Day 4, Rishikesh to Dehradun

    Today the road climbs into the heart of the region. You will see Free time for yoga/cafes or Rajaji National Park safari if you like wildlife, Drive to Dehradun. 1 hr, Robber's Cave, Sahastradhara, Forest Research Institute FRI and Paltan Bazaar for shopping. The evening is yours. Overnight at Dehradun.

  • Day 5, Dehradun to Mussoorie

    Breakfast first, and then the day belongs to you. Today takes in Drive to Mussoorie. 1.5 hrs via scenic hill road and Sunset : Camel's Back Road walk. Dinner and overnight stay at Mussoorie.

  • Day 6, Mussoorie Sightseeing

    An early start today, and well worth it. Lined up for you are Kempty Falls, Bhatta Falls and Lal Tibba for Himalayan views, Happy Valley Tibetan Market. Mall Road shopping + local food. Try momos and chocolate at Landour Bakehouse. Check in, settle down and spend the night at Mussoorie.

  • Day 7, Mussoorie Day Trip + Leisure

    Today is the one travellers talk about afterwards. You will visit George Everest House + Cloud's End for peaceful views and Pack, enjoy last walk on Mall Road. Dhanaulti + Eco Park day trip. 1 hr drive, pine forests and adventure park. Overnight stay at Mussoorie.

  • Day 8, Departure

    The journey closes today. On the itinerary today are Drive to Dehradun Airport/Railway Station. 1.5 hrs.
