Daringbadi is the one place in Odisha where it occasionally snows, which is how it earned its nickname. At around 3,000 feet in the Kandhamal hills, it is a landscape of pine forest, coffee and pepper gardens, and a great many waterfalls packed into a small area.
This three-day circuit runs from Berhampur or Gopalpur and takes in the waterfalls, viewpoints and eco-tourism spots that make the Kandhamal hills worth the drive, before finishing with the hot springs at Taptapani and the sea at Gopalpur. Transport is private throughout.
