Day 1, Arrival at Bangalore and transfer to Mysore
Arrive at Bangalore airport and transfer to Mysore, the royal city of Karnataka, with its royal buildings, gardens, temples, museums and amusement parks. Visit the Chamarajendra Art Gallery, Mysore Zoo, the Maharaja's Palace and Brindavan Gardens. Overnight at the hotel. Please note that Mysore Zoo remains closed on Tuesdays.
Day 2, Coorg
Coorg, the Scotland of India, is a hill station of coffee estates, spice plantations and misty valleys. Visit Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat, the Namdroling Monastery at Bylakuppe and the Dubare elephant camp as time permits. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3, Coorg sightseeing
A second day in the coffee country, covering the plantations, waterfalls and viewpoints not reached on the first day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4, Coorg to Bangalore
The Garden City of India and the capital of Karnataka is one of the prettiest and cleanest cities in the country, well known for its rapidly growing software industry. Visit Cubbon Park and the Government Museum, Tipu Sultan's Palace, the Fort, the Bull Temple and the Venkatappa Art Gallery as time permits. Overnight at the hotel. Please note that the distances mentioned are measured from the city centre.
Day 5, Departure from Bangalore
After breakfast, transfer to Bangalore airport for your onward journey.
