About This Tour

Seven days that end in Sasan Gir, the last refuge of the Asiatic lion. Nowhere else in the world has them in the wild, and the Gir jungle trail by jeep or the Devaliya bus safari puts you in their country.

Before that: Ahmedabad and the Statue of Unity, the Dwarkadhish temple and a dip in the Gomti, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Bet Dwarka, Porbandar’s Sudama temple and the evening aarti at Somnath. Safari permits are booked online in advance and we will guide you through it.

Itinerary

Day by day, here is exactly how Gujarat — Temples & the Gir Lions unfolds — 6 nights and 7 days, starting and ending at Ahmedabad.

  • Day 1, Arrive Ahmedabad

    Arrive Ahmedabad check into hotel, Later Visit Gandhi Ashram, Adalaj Stepwell Then Evening Visit Akshardham Temple at Gandhinagar Evening Visit Light & Sound Show at Temple, then return back to Ahmedabad, Overnight Stay at Ahmedabad.

  • Day 2, Ahmedabad – Statue of Unity - Ahmedabad

    Today Breakfast and drive to Statue of unity (200 Km), visit (Operational Hours - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm). Access to Viewing Gallery in addition to Statue of Unity entry, Exhibition, Audio Visual Gallery, Valley of Flowers, Sardar Sarovar Dam Viewpoint. Evening visit laser show and drive to Ahmedabad Overnight at Ahmedabad.

  • Day 3, Ahmedabad – Jamnagar - Dwarka

    Morning Breakfast, check out from hotel, then proceed to Dwarka, En-route visit – Lakhota Lake & Bala Hanuman, Then Drive to Dwarka, Evening reach at Dwarka, check in, then evening visit Dwarkadhish Temple. Evening Visit Market for shopping, overnight stay at the Hotel.

  • Day 4, Dwarka

    Today after breakfast, proceed to the sacred town of Dwarka, Visit Dwarkadhish Temple. Take a holy dip in Gomti river, later leave to visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka, and on way back do visit Rukmani Temple, evening visit other temples on coastal area than attend evening Aarti at Dwarkadhish temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 5, Dwarka – Porbandar - Somnath

    Today after breakfast drive to Somnath, En-route visit Porbandar – Kirti Mandir & Sudama Temple, then drive Somnath Check in to hotel, and then visit Bhalka Tirth Temple, Attend Evening Aarti at Somnath Jyotirlinga (one of the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva) Evening visit Light & Sound Show at Somnath Temple, Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 6, Somnath – Sasan Gir

    Today after breakfast, Drive to Sasan Gir, check into Hotel then enjoy the Gir National Park to visit Asiatic Lion, Gir Jungle Trail (Jeep Safari) or Devaliya Safari(Bus Safari). Guest have book Online Permit on www.girlion.in. Dinner & Overnight Stay at Hotel.

  • Day 7, Sasan Gir – Virpur – Gondal – Ahmedabad Drop

    Today after Breakfast, proceed to Rajkot. En-route visit Jalaram Temple at Virpur and Swaminarayan temple, Navlakha Palace and Vintage Car museum at Gondal. Then drive to Ahmedabad, Drop at Ahmedabad.
