Kashmir in Three, Four, Five or Six Nights — Which Length Suits You

We run Kashmir across four durations for a reason. The valley is compact, but
rushing it wastes it.

Kashmir in Three, Four, Five or Six Nights — Which Length Suits You

Three nights — the essentials

Mughal gardens on arrival, a day at Gulmarg, a day at Pahalgam. Tight but well
paced. From ₹9,150 per person on 2 Star Deluxe with a twelve-seater.

Four nights — adds Sonmarg

The meadow of gold, ringed by glaciers. It is a long day trip and worth it.

Five nights — a night in Pahalgam itself

This is the one we quietly recommend. Staying in Pahalgam rather than day-tripping
means the Lidder valley in the evening and Baisaran without hurrying.

Six nights — including the Tulip Garden

In season, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is the largest in Asia. Six
nights leaves room for it and for simply sitting by the Dal.

Common questions before booking

When is the best time for Purulia?

October to March, and especially the Puja season, when the Ayodhya Hills turn red and ochre and Turga and Bamni waterfalls run full.

What makes the Dooars good for student groups?

Tea garden, river, hill, jungle and the Bhutan border all sit within a short radius, so a three-day trip covers genuinely varied ground with short driving distances.

Do you cover Digha, Gangtok or Pelling?

We have operated custom departures to these. They are not yet standard packages with published rates, so please call 7872349359 and we will quote a tailored trip.

Planning your dates

Peak windows — the Pujas, December, and the Kashmir tulip season — fill six to
eight weeks ahead, and offbeat homestays have very few rooms between them. If your
dates are fixed, talk to us early. If they are flexible, tell us and we will
suggest the week that gives you the best weather and the best rate.
