How Tour Package Pricing Actually Works — And Why Group Size Changes Everything

Travellers often assume a package price is a fixed number. It is not, and
understanding why will save you a great deal of money.

The vehicle is the biggest variable

A private vehicle costs roughly the same whether two people sit in it or ten.
Split across two travellers it is punishing; split across ten it almost vanishes.
On our Serene South route the per-head rate falls from ₹40,100 for two to ₹26,200
for ten — the itinerary is identical.

Hotel category is the second

Our Andaman packages run across five grades — Standard, Deluxe, Super Deluxe,
Luxury and Premium. Same islands, same ferries, same sightseeing.

Season is the third

Himachal has published season and off-season windows. Kashmir’s rates carry
validity dates. We print these rather than hide them.

What ‘Price on Request’ means

Not that we are being cagey. It means the honest answer depends on your group
and dates, and a single printed figure would mislead you.

The rule we hold to

The rate we quote is the rate you pay. No fuel surcharge appearing later, no
driver allowance discovered at the end. Everything included and excluded is
printed on every package page.

Tell us your real numbers on 7872349359 and we will
quote against them.

What every Sanjhbati Tourism departure includes

Whichever route you choose, the following are part of the published rate and
never appear as a surprise on your final invoice:

  • Accommodation in the hotel or homestay category you selected
  • The stated meal plan — MAP for breakfast and dinner, AP for all meals
  • A private vehicle for the whole itinerary, never shared with strangers
  • Every sightseeing stop written into the day-by-day plan
  • Toll tax, parking charges and driver allowance
  • A 24-hour helpline, plus the direct number of your local representative

Common questions before booking

How do I book a tour with Sanjhbati Tourism?

Call or WhatsApp 7872349359, or write to travel@sanjhbatitourism.com with your destination, dates and number of travellers. We send a full itinerary and quotation, usually the same day. A booking advance confirms your rooms and vehicle.

Are prices quoted per person or for the whole group?

Per person, always. Most packages carry a minimum group size, and the per-head cost falls as the group grows — on our eleven-day South India route it drops from ₹40,100 for two travellers to ₹26,200 for ten.

What does a package normally include?

Accommodation, the stated meal plan, private transport with an experienced driver, every sightseeing stop in the itinerary, and toll tax, parking and driver allowance. Each package page lists Included and Excluded in full.

Planning your dates

Peak windows — the Pujas, December, and the Kashmir tulip season — fill six to
eight weeks ahead, and offbeat homestays have very few rooms between them. If your
dates are fixed, talk to us early. If they are flexible, tell us and we will
suggest the week that gives you the best weather and the best rate.
