About This Tour

Kerala earns its slogan honestly. In eight days you move from the Chinese fishing nets and Portuguese churches of Fort Kochi, up into the tea slopes of Munnar, across to the spice plantations of Thekkady, down to the backwaters at Alleppey, and finally along the coast to Kovalam and the southern tip of the country at Kanyakumari.

This is a long, well-paced route with two nights at Munnar so that the hill sightseeing is not squeezed. Accommodation is in deluxe rooms on the MAP plan with daily breakfast and dinner, transport is private throughout, and pick-up is at Cochin with the drop at Trivandrum. Optional experiences along the way — a Kathakali performance, a Kalaripayattu show, an Ayurvedic treatment or a spice plantation visit — can all be arranged on the ground.
