Kalimpong Offbeat is where the Himalaya stops performing and simply gets on with living. There are no ticket counters here, no queues and no souvenir stalls — only pine-scented ridges, orange orchards, wooden homestays with smoke curling from the kitchen, and a horizon that clears without warning to reveal Kanchenjunga.
Sanjhbati Tourism is a North Bengal specialist, and this is the region we know best. Every homestay on this route is an associate property we have personally visited and continue to work with, which means the beds are clean, the food is home-cooked and the family knows we are coming. Your vehicle stays with you for all three days, so the pace of the trip is yours to set. This package runs on an AP meal plan — breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner are all included, and nothing is left to guesswork after a long day on the hill roads.

Our representative will receive you at New Jalpaiguri and you will begin the climb along the Teesta towards the Kalimpong ridge. Check in to your homestay by afternoon, take the evening slowly with tea and local snacks, and let the mountain air settle in. Dinner and overnight at the homestay.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the quiet settlements this region is loved for — pine forests, viewpoints, small monasteries, cardamom and orange gardens, and villages where the only sound is the wind. Lunch is served en route or back at the homestay. Return by evening for snacks, dinner and a night under a remarkably clear sky.
Enjoy an unhurried breakfast and say goodbye to your hosts. We drive back down to New Jalpaiguri in comfortable time for your onward train or flight, with a few photo stops along the way.
*Minimum 7 adults travelling together. Children below 5 years free; 5 to 8 years at 50%; above 8 years counted as an adult.
